Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps

SINED-TBI conducts Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps for the benefit of students every year. Experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, officials from various agencies like banks, district industry centre and venture funding companies interact with our students and provide them with valuable inputs. Such programs are held to identify potential candidates for incubation.

Entrepreneurship Development Programmes

Educating and training people for developing entrepreneurial capabilities through positive training interventions is the core strategy of SINED-TBI. It acts as facilitator and resource institution to motivate, guide and help prospective and existing entrepreneurs in their entrepreneurial endeavors/efforts through positive training interventions. Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) are well formulated and suitably structured programmes conducted with the aim of new enterprise creation. Programme provides details on institutional linkages and assistance, business opportunities, achievement motivation, technical orientation, factory visits, market survey, project report preparation, marketing management aspects, financial aspects, Factory Acts and Labour Laws, etc.

Technology Entrepreneurship Training

Any student of NDRI, who considers himself as a true high-potential entrepreneur, want to access rapidly to leadership positions without wasting personal and professional assets, want to launch his own venture or begin a new professional career as a corporate entrepreneur, have an idea or product in mind, or look for an Idea or an opportunity, here is a unique opportunity to shape his dreams! He will spend 4 hours per week over a period of 2 years working very hard to acquire the skills and behavior that can enable him to make his project happen by the time he finishes his studies. This unique learning experience can transform both personal and professional lives of a student.

The programme is centered upon:

Competencies specific to entrepreneurial actions: communication, negotiation, Opportunity Identification, Marketing Accounting, Finance, Environmental Scanning- documents and procedures (business plan and techniques for project evaluation), project management etc.,

Faculty /Resource Persons:

Internal Faculty, Experts from various agencies (Banks, Industries, Govt.departments, Consultants and Trainers) and Successful Entrepreneurs.

Duration: Around 150 hours spread over a 2-year period.

Eligibility: Second or third year students of B.Tech Dairy Technology Programme

Selection: Through a test and an interview.

My Idea Programme

SINED-TBI organizes “My Idea Programme” to promote a sustainable culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among student community. In this programme, idea contests are organized and selected students are recognized with certificates and cash prizes.

Incubation of start-up ventures

SINED-TBI assists potential and qualifying ventures / incubatees by supporting them in Different Stages Of Business Development. The role of SINED-TBI will depend on the individual cases, their strengths, weaknesses and extent of support required by the tenet incubatees. SINED-TBI can only assist the venture promoters through various stages of development, but can never replace entrepreneurship demanded from the promoters for business. Hence, the entrepreneurship of the promoters plays a very important role in success of these ventures. To encourage entrepreneurship, SINED-TBI will train the potential entrepreneurs and guide them through the process of business venturing through interactive workshops and constant nurturing. Broadly all the business activities can be summed up in following four stages:
